Choose from the just added Blue, Orange or Turquoise Chrysler Harmonic balancer for the 383 and 440 RB engines. 1965-1971 Chrysler Harmonic Balancer for 383 and 440 RB Engines with Forged Steel Crankshaft. 7.25″ Internally Balanced for 1965-1971 383 and 440 CID RB engines with a forged steel crankshaft.
To determine if you have a steel crank or not, you can check the original balancer to see if it has any offset weight on the front. If you do not have the original balancer, you will need to inspect the crankshaft, looking at the mold parting line, If it’s a narrow ridge, it has a cast crank, and cannot use this balancer. If it’s a wide (1/4″-3/8″) raised area, it’s steel & you can use this balancer successfully.

all with 318 or 340 V8 w/forged crank.  Will not work on 340 with

a cast crankshaft.
